Anne Troyer, 2019 Laker Graduate, is a National FFA Proficiency Finalist. She will undergo an interview during National Convention in October and compete against three other FFA members for the top in the nation, and win $1,000 in cash, for just being a finalist she gets $500 cash.

For those who don't know what a proficiency is, it is an application an FFA member fills out of their records of either a agriculture oriented business they own(entrepreneurship) or agriculture business they work for. Records would be things such as hours worked, inventory, balance sheet(Assets, liabilities, income, expenses), etc. This is actually a class they can take called Supervised Agriculture Experience(SAE), but they don't have to take the class to earn this award.

Anne's proficiency is in Sheep Production Entrepreneurship as she raises 30 head of Jacob sheep.
